Waist Slimming Carrot Apple Salad for a Snack
Carrots are high in beta carotene which is essential for immunity and eye health
I used honeycomb for extra prebiotic fiber , and walnuts and chia seeds are high in Omega 6 fatty acids that are essential for brain development and protective of the heart.
Ingredients for Carrot & Apple Salad:
- 2 medium carrots, coarsely grated 
- 1 apple, coarsely grated 
- 3/4 cup dried or fresh cranberries 
- 1-2 honeycomb pieces from Pass The Honey 
Dressing Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup goat’s milk yogurt 
- Handful of crushed walnuts 
- 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds 
- Optional 2 tsp lemon juice
