Green Goddess Smoothie

Prep Notes: Drinking the Green Goddess Smoothie for breakfast is a great way to incorporate tremendous amounts of greens into your diet – far more than just eating your veggies. A glass or a bowl contains over 3 cups of dark leafy green vegetables, which is more than many people get in a week!
Yields : 2 servings
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups herbal tea or water
1 head organic kale, chopped
3 to 4 stalks organic celery
1/2 head of a large bunch or 3/4 of a small bunch ofspinach
1 organic kiwi
1 organic apple, cored and chopped
1 organic pear, cored and chopped
1 organic banana
2 inch of ginger
Juice of 1/2 fresh organic lemon
Optional: 1/3 bunch organic cilantro (stems OK) and 1/3bunch organic parsley (stems OK)
Directions
- Add water and chopped kale to blender. Blend at a low speed until smooth. 
- Add spinach, celery, ginger apple, and pear, and blend at high speed. 
- Add cilantro and parsley (which help chelate heavy metals fromyour body). 
- Finish with banana and lemon. 
- Blend at a high speed in Vitamix for 30-45 seconds. - Serve with sprinkles of hemp or chia seeds, goji berries or homemade granola.
